Top Gorilla Trekking Sectors in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

There are four gorilla trekking regions in Bwindi and these include Nkuringo, Ruhijja, Rushaga, and Buhoma gorilla sectors.

Ruhijja gorilla sectors.

Ruhijja sector is located in the eastern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National game park. This sector has got 4 gorilla families, namely the Kyagurilo group, Bitukula group, Mukiza group, and Ruzogo group.

The sector is positioned between the Buhoma sector to the north of the park and Kibale town to the south making the sector to be easily accessible from both parts of the south and north. The sector connects to reach Queen Elizabeth National Park which covers 218km. To get to Nkuringo, one goes via the Kabale-Kisoro Road. If one uses a bus, the journey can last for 11-12 hours.
