There are a variety of lodges in and around Nyungwe National Park. Some are more affordable, like Nyungwe House or Nyungwe Nzizia Eco Lodge, which cost around $100 per person per night.

From Kigali, you may reach Nyungwe National Park by road. You can reach Nyungwe National Park via public transportation, such as buses, or by renting a car and driving yourself. The cost of the fare will vary depending on where you start your journey. For example, if you’re coming from Kigali, the bus fare will be around USD $20 per person, per seat.
The bus ride could take anywhere from four to eight hours. Some buses even pass through the park, so taking one of those would be the most convenient way to reach the park. Another alternative is to hire a private automobile, which is highly suggested for a trip to Nyungwe National Park since it is more convenient and pleasant than public transportation and would get you there faster. A day of car rental might cost about 30,000 to 40,000 RWF.
Nyungwe National Park is a 32-kilometer journey away from Kamembe Airport, so that’s another alternative.
