Bushaho Gorilla Family is now open for gorilla trekking
Numerous gorilla families have broken up in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, while others have become habituated. As we write, the Bushaho gorilla family is already accepting visitors for gorilla trekking, according to reports from Nkuringo in the southern region of Bwindi. Along with Bikingi, Bushaho is one of the two gorilla families that have been habituated.
This implies that two gorilla groups will soon be accessible for trekking from this side of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Nkuringo. Although there are still two habituated gorilla families accessible for trekking from the Nkuringo side, there is now just one Bikingi family in the Rushaga district of Bwindi that is open for gorilla habituation experiences.
The opening of the Bushaho gorilla family for gorilla trekking also implies that the Uganda Wildlife Authority will always have 16 gorilla permits available each day. This will provide those who are interested in visiting Nkuringo with a selection.
Gorilla trekking is now available at the Bushaho Gorilla Family.
There are now nine members of the Bushaho gorilla family, but like other gorilla families, its population might increase based on the number of newborns and if the dominant Silverback will be able to subjugate more members from other mountain gorillas that are not habituated in that area.
With 15 gorilla families spread over the four districts of Bwindi, Uganda is among the greatest places to see these critically endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat now that the Buhaho gorilla family is available to gorilla trekking. One may choose from a range of gorilla families in Mgahinga by choosing another one.
By planning gorilla safaris for travelers to view these threatened animals, Katland Safaris is still dedicated to helping to save the mountain gorilla population in Uganda and Rwanda. We provide transportation to and from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Volcanoes National Park, lodging, and all associated services.
We also arrange gorilla permits for trekking in Uganda and Rwanda. Since the Bushaho gorilla family is now accepting visitors for gorilla trekking, please do not hesitate to call Katland Safaris. Our offices are available around-the-clock in case you require assistance. That is the great news for both the gorilla community and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
