18-day Uganda Adventure Safari. This 18-day Uganda adventure safari is the best for any tourist wanting to see the whole of Uganda on a single safari. This safari starts with a pick-up from central Uganda, taking you to the western, northern, and southern parts of Uganda. On this 18-day ultimate Uganda wildlife and adventure safari, you will have the opportunity to track mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park, you will Lake Mburo National Park for a calm safari, and visit Ishasha and Major sectors in Queen Elizabeth National Park for exciting wildlife and boat safaris. You will proceed to Murchison Falls National Game Park for wildlife and to Kidepo Valley National Game Park for wildlife and Karamojong cultural safaris. You will climax your safari with a rhino tracking experience at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before transferring back to either Kampala or Entebbe, marking the end of your 18-day ultimate Uganda wildlife and adventure safari.
Day One: Pick Up from Kampala and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Game Park
Today, very early in the morning, you will meet a safari Guide from Katland Safaris who will brief you about your safari. After the safari, you will then embark on an exciting journey to Lake Mburo National Game Park. You will have a stopover in Mpambire for the Drum experience and later at the equator for pictures. Yu will continue with the Journey to Lake Mburoreaching in time for Lunch and an evening game drive.
You will return to the lodge for evening relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at Rwakobo Rock Safari Lodge.
Day Two: Morning Game Drive and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
On this day, you will wake up very early in the morning for a hot breakfast, and after, head out for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo nNationalgame park. After the game drive, you will then embark on a journey to Lake Bunyonyi, arriving in the evening for sightseeing, relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
LAKE BUNYONYI
Lake Bunyonyi is believed to be the deepest lake and probably the most beautiful lake in the whole of Africa. The lake is located in southwestern Uganda and is dotted with numerous islands and beautifully terraced hills. With the lake’s cool weather, numerous dotted islands, and scenic environments, Lake Bunyonyi is marked as a great spot to relax and unwind while on a safari across Uganda.

Day 03: Canoe boat safari on Lake Bunyonyi and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast at your lodge, you will go for a canoe safari on Lake Bunyonyi. While on the boat safari, you will visit historical islands on the lake and dive into the culture that makes the local people on those islands unique.
After the cruise boat safari, you will then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 04: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural experience.
Today is when we take on the highlight of your adventure Safari, which is gorilla trekking. You will wake up very early in the morning for breakfast, fast, and with a packed lunch, you will be driven to the park’s head offices for a briefing about gorilla trekking adventures. After the briefing, and with the leadership of the rangers, you will enter the forest and embark on the exciting journey in search of the mountain gorillas.
Once you meet the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend a full hour in the company of the mountain gorillas, observing their way of life and taking pictures and videos. After the gorilla trekking adventure, you will transfer back to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.
After lunch, you will have the option of going for the Batwa community experience for the evening.
Day 05: Scenic Transfer to Ishasha wilderness sector of Queen Elizabeth.
After a hot breakfast at the lodge, you will embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha sector. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will have a slow game drive, later check into the lodge, where you will be warmly welcomed and check into the lodge for relaxation.
You have the option of going for an evening game drive or just staying at the lodge for an evening of relaxation.

Day 06: Full day game safari in Ishasha wilderness sector in search of tree-climbing lion and other wildlife.
After having breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a game drive in the Ishasha wilderness sector in search of tree-climbing lions and other wildlife species. The highlight of the game safari in Ishasha is locating tree-climbing lions; however, locating and spotting them depends on your luck and the weather of the day, as we can’t make any appointments with them.

Day 07: Drive from Ishasha Wilderness sector to Mweya sector in the northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Today, after a hot breakfast, you will head out to explore the northern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a slow ride through the park with your head up in search of wildlife.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular and diverse conservation area, with a variety of habitats ranging from acacia woodland, forest, wetlands, and grasslands. These habitats are home to a great number of wildlife species, including the big 4 animals and a great number of bird species.

Day 08: Morning game drive and afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga channel.
For this day of your Safari, you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast, and after go for an early morning Game Adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park. While on this Safari, expect to encounter several wildlife, including hyenas, buffalo, lions, a n elephants, among other wild animals.
After a thrilling drive, you will then head back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch as you gather energy for yet another thrilling adventure, the afternoon boat safari on Kazinga channel, a place with some of the highest concentrations of hippos, with a lot of aquatic wildlife and elephants spotted on the Banks of Kazinga channel.l
After the Boat safari, you will transfer back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 09: Transfer to Kibale Forest Game Park.
On this day of your Safari, you will wake up very early in the morning for breakfast and bid farewell to the lodge and embark on a journey to Kibale Forest National Park, also known as the primate’s capital of the world because of its very high concentration of chimpanzees.
The Scenic transfer will take you through the rural villages of rural Uganda and finally to Kibale Forest National Park.
Accommodation will be at Primates Lodge Kibale Luxury, Kibale Forest Camp Mid Rouge, and at Chimpanzee Forest Guest House for Budget accommodation.
Day 10: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, we visit Kibale National Park, which is said to have the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. You will take a guided nature walk in search of chimpanzees, black and white colubus monkeys, red colubus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, baboons, and a variety of bird species. Come back to the lodge, relax around, have lunch, Relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Day 11: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Game Park.
Today, you wake up very early in the morning for an early breakfast and a hot cup of coffee. You will meet your guide and embark on a journey to northwestern Uganda, aiming for Murchison Falls National Park. You will have lunch on route and after continue with the journey and check into the services of Pakuba Safari Lodge for accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Murchison Falls National Game Park.
This is the largest national park and conservation area in Uganda, with approximately 3840 square kilometers. The Nile River divides this magnificent park into two sectors: the southern and western sectors. The park is known for magnificent falls, where the entire River Nile squeezes itself through a 6-meter gorge, creating a rainbow on top of the falls. While in Murchison Falls, take a boat cruise upstream; the falls provide you with an unforgettable safari experience like no other. Visitors can watch a variety of wildlife, including buffalo, elephants, giraffes, lions, crocodiles, and hippos, alongside a variety of bird species.s
Day 12: Morning game drive and afternoon boat safari to the bottom of Murchison Falls.
You will wake up very early morning for breakfast and then transfer for an early morning game drive to watch early morning grazers as they rotate around in watching for the early sunrise. Some of the animals expected on this morning game drive include African elephant’s cape buffalo, giraffes (Roth’s giraffe), hyenas, lions, Hyenas, heart beasts, and a leopard or lion in case luck is on our side.
After this exciting early morning game drive, you will then transfer back to the lodge for a quick lunch, and after lunch, you will head out for a fascinating afternoon boat safari on the Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls. While on this safari, expect to see wildlife from elephants, giraffes, birds, and Nile crocodiles. After this exciting boat safari, you will then transfer back to your lodge for evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 13: Top of the falls hiking adventure and afternoon game drive
Wake up very early in the morning for breakfast and, with your guide, transfer to explore the top of the falls. You will also have the opportunity not only to gaze at these magnificent falls but also to hike to the top of the falls. Have breakfast at these magnificent falls.
After transferring back to either the lodge or making a stop at Red chill rest camp for lunch and relaxation. After lunch, you will then head out for an evening game drive in search of the late grazers.
Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 14: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Game Park.
Today you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast, meet up with your guide, and embark on an exciting journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. You will wake up in often cross-seasonal springs and rivers, crossed by bridges. As you approach Kidepo Valley National Game Park, you will start encountering people of Karamoja. You will proceed and check into the services of a lodge for a relaxation dinner and overnight stay.

This magnificent conservation area lies in the rugged semi-arid valley between Uganda’s borders with Southern Sudan and Kenya, about 100 km from Uganda’s capital Kampala. The park was gazetted as a national park in 1962. With its diverse biodiversity of big game, (77 mammal species and 475 bird species) Kidepo valley national game park is Uganda’s most isolated national park, but the very few that have taken the journey north through the wild frontiers region of Karamoja would agree that Kidepo Valley National Park is Uganda’s and probably Africa’s most beautiful national park as it consistently ranks among Africa’s most wilderness.
From Apoka, in the heart of the park, Kidepo extends far beyond the gazetted area, towards horizons separated by distant mountain ranges.

Day 15: Full day game drives in Kidepo National Park.
Today you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then go out for a game in Narusi valley of Kidepo Valley National Game Park. Narusi Valley is a beautiful plain grassland enclosed by distant and beautiful rolling mountains seen from every corner while on the game drive. The valley has permanent water, and for much of the year, the park’s wildlife congregates here. The valley is designed with numerous tracks with well-designed loops that make exploring the natural part a memorable adventure.
Most notable wildlife expected on the safari in Kidepo Valley National Park include buffalo, giraffes, Jackson heat beasts, oribis, and lions. The park also has leopards and cheetahs, but commonly seen. Accommodation at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.
Day 16: Another full day game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park.
On this day, we have the option of either going for a morning game drive and relaxing at the lodge later in the evening, or spending the morning at the lodge and going for an evening game drive. Accommodation at Kidepo Savannah lodge.
Day 17: Karamonjong cultural experience and transfer to Gulu for overnight stay.
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast, and with packed bags, slowly drive through the national park in search of any wildlife that you would have missed on the previous drives. Proceed to the Kidepo River and pave the way to the Karamoja community. The Karamoja people are very famous cattle keepers who love and attach a very high value to cows. Visit their homesteads known as manyattas, dance to the tunes of their music instruments and rhymes, and if you can jump high enough, you might walk away with a Karamojong girl.
After the Karamojong cultural experience, transfer to Gulu for evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 18: Ziwa Rhino tracking adventure and transfer back to Kampala, marking the end of your 18-day ultimate Uganda wildlife and adventure safari.
Today is your last day on a safari across Uganda. You will wake up very early in the morning for the last breakfast, and after embark on your journey back to Kampala. You will make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the Rhino trekking experience and lunch.

This is a popular destination for a stopover for tourists on safaris to Murchison Falls National Park. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is home to the rhinos conserved to be reintroduced in Murchison Falls National Park. While at Ziwa, you will go for a rhino search on foot and come up close to the rhinos.
You will return to the starting point for lunch and, after transfer back to Kampala, marking the end of your 18-day Ultimate Uganda Wildlife and Adventure Safari.
