Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Your safari begins with an early departure from Entebbe or Kampala, heading north toward Murchison Falls National Park. The drive takes you through rural countryside and traditional villages, offering insight into everyday Ugandan life. Upon arrival in the park, you proceed to the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile River dramatically forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging into the river below. Day 2: Game Drive and Nile Boat Safari in Murchison Falls
Day two is dedicated to exploring the rich wildlife of Murchison Falls National Park. An early morning game drive across the northern savannah plains introduces you to elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, and a variety of antelope species. The open landscapes provide excellent wildlife viewing and photography opportunities. In the afternoon, you enjoy a boat safari along the Victoria Nile, cruising upstream toward the base of Murchison Falls. The morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains offers excellent chances to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and warthogs, with leopards occasionally seen during early hours. In the afternoon, you take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway linking Lake Edward and Lake George.
