Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Overnight in Arusha

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport is followed by a private transfer to a safari lodge in Arusha. The day is reserved for rest and acclimatization, with a detailed safari briefing provided by your guide. Dinner is served at the lodge, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Overnight in Tarangire Area

After breakfast, the safari begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is renowned for its large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife concentrations along the Tarangire River. Game drives continue throughout the afternoon before transferring to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park – Overnight in Lake Manyara Area

The journey continues to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park known for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and rich birdlife. A full game drive explores groundwater forests, open plains, and the soda lake shoreline. Dinner and overnight are spent at a lodge overlooking the Great Rift Valley.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti – Overnight in Central Serengeti

After breakfast, the safari proceeds toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon entering the Serengeti, game drives begin immediately, introducing vast plains dotted with predators and plains game. Dinner and overnight are spent in the central Serengeti.

Day 5: Central Serengeti Game Drives – Overnight in Central Serengeti

The day is dedicated to extensive game drives across the central Serengeti, an area known for year-round wildlife sightings. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herbivore herds are commonly encountered. The flexible schedule allows exploration of key wildlife hotspots before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Central Serengeti to Northern or Western Serengeti – Overnight in Serengeti

Depending on the season and wildlife movements, the safari continues toward either the northern or western Serengeti. These regions are associated with the Great Wildebeest Migration and dramatic river crossings during certain months. En-route game drives provide continuous wildlife viewing. Dinner and overnight are spent near active wildlife corridors.

Day 7: Serengeti Wildlife Exploration – Overnight in Serengeti

A full day is allocated to tracking wildlife movements in the selected Serengeti region. Morning and afternoon game drives focus on predator activity, large herds, and river systems that attract wildlife throughout the day. Dinner and overnight remain in the Serengeti.

Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Overnight in Ngorongoro Area

After breakfast, the safari departs the Serengeti and travels toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Wildlife sightings continue along the way as landscapes transition to volcanic highlands. Arrival at the crater rim offers spectacular views. Dinner and overnight are spent at a lodge near the crater.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Overnight in Karatu or Ngorongoro Area

An early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater provides one of Africa’s most concentrated wildlife experiences. The crater floor supports lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and abundant plains game. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, the safari ascends to the highlands. Dinner and overnight follow at a nearby lodge.

Day 10: Return to Arusha and Departure

The final day includes breakfast followed by a relaxed drive back to Arusha. Depending on departure schedules, lunch may be enjoyed in town before transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of the safari.
