11-day Uganda Wildlife, Gorilla Trekking, and Jinja Adventure Safari. This safari allows you to experience some of Uganda’s most beautiful and visited national parks.
The safari will also take you to Jinja, the adventure capital on the Nile, for adventures on the Nile, to Murchison Falls National Game Park, to Queen Elizabeth National Game Park, to Kibale Forest for Chimpanzee trekking, and finally to Bwindi Impenetrable National Game Park for gorilla trekking.
Day 01: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Jinja.
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will meet a safari guide representative from Katland Safaris who will welcome you to Uganda and brief you about your 11-day Uganda Wildlife, Gorilla Trekking, and Jinja Adventure Safari. You will embark on an exciting journey to Jinja, passing through Mabira Forest. Depending on your time of arrival, you can take a Jinja city walk with the guide, and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay as you get ready for the safari.

Day 02: Optional Adventure activities in Jinja
You will wake early in the morning for breakfast and an early morning cup of coffee, you will meet your safari Guide and head out for the whole adventure of a lifetime.
You have the opportunity to choose between a variety of activities, from rafting the Nile, rural quad biking, bungee Jumping, and tubing the Nile.

Day 03: Transfer from Jinja to Murchison Falls National Game Park with a Rhino tracking route at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and scenic drive to the Top of the Falls
Wake up for an early morning breakfast and embark on a journey to Murchison Falls National Game Park. You will make a stopover in Nakasongola and the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a walking safari in search of the Rhinos. After Rhino tracking, you will have lunch and then continue with the Journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
You will drive to the top of Murchison Falls to have a spectacular view of the falls. After, you will transfer to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 04: Early morning Game drive and afternoon boat safari in Murchison Falls National Park, game
Today, we set off early in the morning on our first game drive in the park. The park offers an array of wildlife species, including Lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, oribis, and, of course, the Uganda Kobs is the best known. With your safari guide, you will pass through some of the most beautiful tracks and will never tire of answering your questions. The vegetation with the savannah and the riverside forest will inspire you. After lunch, you will set off on a boat safari towards Murchison Falls. Crocodiles, hippos, and water birds accompany you on your trip on the Nile to the impressive waterfalls. Just before the thundering spray of the waterfalls, the boat moors on a rock, and you enjoy the view of the river and take your photos. If you wish, you can hike along a steep path to the top of the waterfalls from where your guide will pick you up. Alternatively, you can return by boat.
You will then go for a slow evening game drive, and if the weather is great, we always end the game drive with an evening sundowner. Your safari guide will transfer you back to the Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 05: Transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest
Wake up early morning for breakfast, and go on another early morning game drive in Murchison National Park. After the game drive, bid farewell to Murchison Falls and take the direction of Kibale Forest National Park. On this scenic drive, you will make numerous stopovers at various viewpoints and take amazing pictures of the lake. You will then proceed and check into the lodge for a relaxation dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park and Bigodi Community and swamp walk
Today, you will take a walk deep into the forest in search of the chimpanzees with an experienced guide. Upon allocating the chimpanzees, you will be allowed a full hour to observe the chimpanzees and follow them through the rainforest, return to the lodge for relaxation and Lunch.

In the afternoon, we set off on a tour through the Bigodi Swamp. You will end the walking safari with a village tour on the edge of the swamp, where you will visit a school and have the opportunity to visit a local family and experience true African indigenous culture. Day 07: Scenic Drive from Kibale Forest to Queen Elisabeth National Park, Community experience in the evening.
After breakfast at your lodge, you will meet your guide and embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. National Park. Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth, you will drive straight to the Lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Later in the evening, your guide will transfer you to Kasoga Village, or Rubirizi Village, for a cultural encounter with the local people living on the Boundaries of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will return to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 08: Morning Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Boat safari on Kazinga Channel
On this day of your 8-day Uganda Private guided Safari, you will wake up early in the morning for a quick breakfast and with your Guide transfer to Kasenyi gate for registration for the morning game drive. Queen Elizabeth is one of Uganda’s most visited parks, offering some of the best African wildlife safaris. While on the morning game drive, expect to see quite a several wildlife ranging from buffalo, lions, Kob antelope, and hyenas, among so many other animals. You will end your game drive with an exciting breakfast in the bush.
Afternoon Boat safari on Kazinga Channel
A boat safari on the Kazinga Channel is one of the most thrilling adventure activities on safaris in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This 36-kilometer-long channel allows you to spot several wildlife, mostly elephants, buffalo, and after the boat ride, you will transfer back to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 09: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Game Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
You will wake up very early in the morning, you will meet your guide, and embark on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Game Park, the home of more than 53 percent of the remaining global population of mountain gorillas.
You will proceed with your journey to Bwindi, arriving later in the evening for a relaxation dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
You will wake up very early in the morning for a quick breakfast at the lodge. You will meet with your safari guide and transfer to the headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing from the rangers about the gorilla trekking Guidelines in the forest.
Bwindi is home to more than 50 percent of the global remaining population of mountain gorillas, offering visitors a 99% chance of seeing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Mountain Gorillas belong to the endangered animal species despite the number of 1,100 that have now been recorded. Tourism has contributed significantly to the fact that the animals are no longer persecuted by the local population but are protected.
After a short briefing, you hike into the densely forested jungle with an experienced guide, a ranger, and a few porters. Your guide will show you the tracks of the animals, answer your questions about the vegetation, and soon you will be up close to the mighty animals.
Upon allocating the mountain gorillas, you will be granted one hour to follow the mountain gorillas, observe them, and take photos and videos in total silence.
After, you will transfer back to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner, and an overnight stay. You have the option of taking an evening cultural walk to experience the Batwa Culture.

Day 11: Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kampala, End of Safari
On the last day, you will wake up early morning for breakfast and embark on a journey back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the equator for lunch and pictures, and then continue with the journey to Entebbe, marking the end of your Safari.

Murchison Falls National Park (The most powerful waterfall in the World) is Uganda’s largest National Park and it’s located in North Western Uganda, offering the best Wildlife tour. The river spreads from the shores of Lake Albert, around the Victoria Nile up to the Karuma Falls, offering the best boat tour. The present-day Murchison Falls National Park was first protected in the 1920s, as Karuma, Bugungu, and Kabalega game reserves, with a local name “Kabalega National Park”. It was later gazetted as a national park in 1952 and named Murchison Falls National Park. Since then, up to date, the name has never changed.
The park is bisected by the mighty River Nile, from east to west, for a distance of about 115 kilometers, making the southern and northern sectors of the park offer some of the best wildlife tours and boat tours. Murchison Falls National Park is endowed with 76 species of mammals and 450 bird species.
The partly forested southern sector of the park harbors one of the region’s big apes, the Chimpanzees in Budongo Forest, Baboons, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, and Red-tailed and Velvet Monkeys, among other wildlife. It also offers immense concentrations of Hippos, as well as Uganda’s largest population of Crocodiles, and most importantly of all, the region’s most impressive waterfalls, Murchison Falls, where the name of the park comes from.
Murchison Falls can be accessed from Kampala by road, and the drive takes 5-6 hours. It passes through the Budongo forest. Tourists avoiding long drives can alternatively choose to fly from Entebbe International Airport to Pakuba or Bugungu Airfields, depending on the location of the Lodge.
Murchison Falls National Park has inland waters that are surrounded by the Victoria Nile; therefore, a boat cruise is an activity that can be done by tourists, and it takes three hours. Private boats, in addition, can also be hired to spot water animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and many other animals that flop the river bank for drinking water and can be seen while on a boat tour in the park.
Whitewater rafting is a fantastic sport that teaches how to stay calm under extreme pressure. Rafting on the longest river on the Nile is one of the greatest adventure opportunities while on a safari across Uganda. Rafting is one of the best safari adventure activities to do while on a safari across Uganda. Whitewater rafting adventure takes you in the middle of the river Nile while passing through chaotic and turbulent rapids. The Nile rapids in Jinja are graded 4 and 5 and offer the best whitewater rafting experiences in Africa.

Queen Elizabeth National Game Park (A medley of wonders) is Uganda’s second largest national park, protecting about 95 mammal species and about 650 bird species have been recorded in the destination. This lush savannah park offers prime grazing to Water Buck, Bush Buck, Elephants, Buffaloes, Warthogs, Hippos, Giant Forest Hogs, and Kobs (The national animal of Uganda), some of which can easily be spotted on the Kazinga as well as the Tree-climbing lions in the famous Ishasha sector, among others. Besides the exciting wildlife, the park harbors close to 650 bird species, a thing that makes it rank among destinations with the highest concentration of bird life as compared to any other park in the World.
It is majestically set in the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon, Rwenzori, and lies along the western arm of the great African Rift Valley, framing Lake Edward and George, which are connected by the Kazinga channel.

Kibale Forest National Game Park (The primates’ capital of the world, A primatologist’s dream) and the best destination for Chimpanzee trekking and Chimpanzee habituation is located in the districts of Kabarole and Kamwenge, approximately 320 kilometers. It extends southwards from Fort Portal and forms a block with Queen Elizabeth, Rwenzori, and Semiliki national parks, as well as Toro Semiliki game reserve. The national park was gazetted in October 1993 and became a park in the 1940s. Today, it is one of the most rewarding destinations to explore, especially was chimpanzee enthusiasts.
Kibale forest has one of the richest ecosystems in the whole of Africa. It contains over 340 bird species, including the African Pitta, Green-breasted Pitt, to mention just a few, making it a wonderful spot for bird watchers, 14 species of snakes, 27 species of frogs and toads, at least 20 species of other reptiles, and at least 200 species of butterflies.
Chimpanzees trekking and Habituation in Kibale Forest National Park.
Kibale Forest National Park is well known for having the highest population of primates in East Africa, but most importantly all the highest population of Chimpanzees. Chimpanzee trekking can be done by tourists in Kibale Forest, and it takes 2-3 hours. With Park ranger guides, visitors get to walk through the natural habitat, trekking with the chimps in a group of six people per trek, and it costs USD150.00 per person per trek. Chimpanzee tracking is done twice a day, AM and PM, depending on the Chimpanzee permits available at the time of purchase.
