4-Day Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Booking a wildlife Safari in Uganda.
4-Day Safari to Queen Elizabeth Trip Overview
The 4-Day Queen Elizabeth National Park Tour is among our top-selling Uganda Safaris. The tour mainly focuses on Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in western Uganda. The Park is full of wonders and is home to 4 of the Big Five mammals. It is among the few national parks in Uganda with primates and savanna wildlife experiences.
You will start the 4-Day Queen Elizabeth National Park Tour with game drives in Kasenyi. Here you will see several wildlife, including antelopes, buffalo, and, if lucky, the lions. The Lions in Kasen are a bit similar to those in Ishasha, and also climb trees. There are leopards in the area, and if lucky, you will see this most solitary big cat.
The Kazinga Channel boat cruise is a must on the 4-Day Queen Elizabeth National Park Tour. This cruise is along a 32-kilometer water channel that connects Lake Edward to Lake George. It has the highest Hippo population in East Africa and a catchment area. A number of these come down the channel on a hot day to take water and cool down. Elephants and buffalo are among the big five you can spot on the Kazinga Channel. You will also see several birds on this channel, including fish eagles, egrets, King Fishers, and many others.
Kyambura Gorge at the edge of the park has an underground forest that is home to chimpanzees. You will walk down the gorge for chimpanzee trekking or go to Kalinzu Forest for this primate trekking adventure. The Gorge is traversed by the Kyambura River, another natural attraction.
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will be picked up from your Hotel / Residence for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
