2 Days Murchison Falls Safari
This 2 Days safari takes you to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest park in Uganda, situated in northwestern Uganda covering an area of about 3,840sq Km. The Park is classified with savannah grassland and the Victoria Nile that separates the park into two, the northern and southern banks. The park has an array of birds and animals inclusive of the big fives, rhinos, elephants, buffalos, and so many others. You will have a chance to enjoy game drives, a boat cruise, and a visit to the top of the falls.
Day one:
Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park, Top of the Falls, and afternoon boat Cruise.
By 05:00 am you should have finished breakfast to immediately start your 2-day safari to Uganda’s biggest National Park driving along the Kampala-Gulu highway stopping over in Luwero District briefly for refreshments such as oranges, pineapples, passion fruits, etc. Once at Murchison Falls National Park drive to the top of the Murchison Falls where you get to have a view of the magnificent Nile squeeze through a narrow gorge of about only 7 meters wide and rapturing into violent waterfalls into a whirlpool about 43 meters below. This sight of the world’s most spectacular waterfall is panoramic and breathtaking. We will proceed to the lodge with an exciting mini-game drive for relaxation.
Afternoon boat Cruise
Go ahead and take a relaxing ride of about three and a half hours where you get to enjoy up-close sightings of several wildlife that lie along the banks of the River Nile such as hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants, monitor lizards, warthogs, and a cocktail of birds such as African fish eagles, red-throated bee-eaters, skimmers, cattle egrets not forgetting the rare shoebill stork and others. The boat ride takes you to the bottom of Murchison Falls for another quite remarkable sight of these wild falls. Return and transfer to your lodge for dinner and take a rest.

Day Two:
Early morning game drive Bush Breakfast, Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, and transfer back to Kampala.
Early in the morning After breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you so you can start your morning game drive to look for the early grazers, you may have the opportunity to see many animals such as buffalos, Elephants, warthogs, and many more, depending on the nature of the day, you may be chanced to spot some of the big cuts like lions and leopards but this is not a guarantee as we cannot make any appointments with nature.
We will end the game drive with a bush Breakfast and then proceed to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the Rhino tracking experience. We will have lunch after and then transfer back to Kampala reaching in the evening.
