Getting to Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge
By road: Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge can be reached from Kampala/Entebbe by both public and private transport, roughly 8–9 hours; public transport will need you to board buses costing roughly USD15 per seat that travel to Kabale, Miko and Kisoro towns then from here you can hire a motorcycle (boda bodas).
From Kigali, Rwanda, you may also reach Rushaga Gorilla Havens resort by 4–5 hours driving; you will pass Cyanika or Katuna border posts from Kigali to Uganda then go to the resort. From Kabale and Kisoro towns, the resort is one to two hours’ drive each side.

Experience with Gorillas Habituation in Bwindi Forest
Only in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, the Gorilla Habituation Experience offers you the chance to spend four hours with mountain gorillas and visit semi-habituated mountain gorilla groups so they may get used to human presence for future normal trekking.

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is one to two hours’ drive from the resort; golden monkey tracking permits run USD 100 while for habituation expenses USD 135 per person including park entry fees. While at Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge and you have adequate time you may undertake all the aforementioned activities as per your wish; additional activities can be scheduled later on during your stay at the lodge; only Gorilla tracking and gorilla habituation is advised you book beforehand.
