Day one:  Transfer from Kampala or Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Game Park: –

Very early in the morning on your first day of the safari, you will be picked up by our safari guide from your hotel in either Kampala or Entebbe for a briefing about your 10-day Uganda gorilla trekking trip. You will embark on a journey to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking.  You will continue with your journey to Murchison Falls, an evening adventure on top of the most iconic waterfalls in the world. You will then transfer to the lodge for accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay:

Day two: Murchison Falls adventure:

Day three: Transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park.

DAY FIVE: – Game Drive Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Game Park and Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel

For this fifth day of your Safari, you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and after go for an early morning Game Adventure epic in Queen Elizabeth National Game Park. While on this Safari, expect to encounter several wildlife, including hyenas, buffalo, lilionselephants, among other wild animals.

If luck is on our side, we might be lucky enough to witness the famous tree-climbing lions of Ishasha. Day Seven: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community encounter.

Today is when we take on the highlight of your 10-day Uganda gorilla trekking trip, which is gorilla trekking. You will wake up very early in the morning for breakfast, fast, and with a packed lunch, you will be driven to the park’s head offices for a briefing about gorilla trekking adventures. After the briefing, and with the leadership of the rangers, you will enter the forest and embark on the exciting journey in search of the mountain gorillas.

Once you meet the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend a full hour in the company of the mountain gorillas, observing their way of life and taking pictures and videos. After the gorilla trekking adventure, you will transfer back to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.

After lunch, you will have the option of going for the Batwa community experience for the evening.

Day Eight: Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to Lake Bunyonyi:

On this day, you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and embark on a journey to one of Uganda`s most scenic and iconic lakes, Lake Bunyonyi. You will have lunch and engage in the activities on the lake, including boat canoeing and a community walk.

You will return to the lodge for r relaxation dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day Nine: Transfer to Lake Mburo National game park from lake Bunyonyi

Today you wake up very early in the morning for a hot breakfast and meet your guide, and transfer to Mburo National Game Park. This park is also known as the whispers of the wild because of its unique, beautiful wildlife.

You will reach Lake Mburo in time for lunch. After lunch, you will head out for evening activities in Lake Mburo National Park, including a boat cruise on Lake Mburo and an evening community walk in the nearby rural village.

After the briefing is done, you will be allocated a gorilla family to track, and with the leadership of the ranger guide, you will enter the forest for the gorilla trekking adventure: –

Once you are with the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed a full hour in the company of the gorillas, taking videos and pictures. After you will transfer back to the lodge for lunch and transfer to Lake Mutanda in Kisoro. Day Eight: Transfer to Kigali for your international flight back

Wake up very early in the morning for breakfast, and with h packed lunch and water, embark on a hiking adventure through the clear Bamboo trails to Gahinga peak. You will also view the lush swamp that was formerly a crater lake. Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Days four and five: Mountain Muhavura hiking adventure (4127 meters)

For Days 4 and, you will have breakfast and hike to Gahinga to the base of mountain Muhavura.  While hiking, you will enjoy the scenic Rwenzori, Lake Albert, Bwindi, and Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay

Day six: Transfer from Kisoro back to Kampala Entebbe, marking the end of your 6-day Mgahinga hiking adventure.

Wake up early in the morning for a fantastic breakfast as you get prepared to check out of the lodge or camp and embark on your scenic transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe. You will make a sleepover at the equator for lunch and be dropped at Entebbe International Airport for your international flight back home, marking the end of your 6-day Mgahinga hiking adventure.

Best of Uganda primates trekking. This six-day Best of Uganda safari takes you to three of Uganda’s and Africa’s top destinations for primate trekking, offering an up-close encounter with these beautiful creatures.  On this safari, you will visit Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking and Bwindi Gorilla National Park for gorilla trekking. You will end the safari with a visit to Lake Bunyonyi.  

Detailed itinerary

Day one: Pick up and transfer to Kibale forest

On the first day of your 06 days best of Uganda primates trekking tour. You will meet with a safari guide from Katland Safaris, you will meet with a safari guide from KatLand safaris for a briefing, and after, embark on a journey to Kibale forest passing through the Uganda countryside of Mityana, Mubende, and Fort Portal. You will have a break for lunch in Fort Portal and then continue with the journey to Kibale forest for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge:

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park and Bigodi community walk.

This day will require us to get up very early in the morning for a briefing at the headquarters from the ranger guides about chimpanzee tracking dos and don’ts. You will enter the forest with the leadership of the ranger guide and start looking for the primate. After Chimpanzee trekking, you will return to the lodge for lunch, and later in the evening, you will go for a community walk and discover how the local people around the national park survive. You will visit a local Brewery, locally known as the Banana man, and a coffee woman.

You will return to the Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day three: Transfer from Kibale forest to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park:

You will wake up very early in the morning for breakfast and after set on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the home to more than half the remaining population of Mountain gorillas. You will drive through Queen Elizabeth National Game Park and if luck is on our side, we might be lucky enough to spot a few wildlife, includingelephantstbuffaloes, antelopes, and maybe lions.

You will check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day four: Mountain gorilla trekking and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park:

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure. After the briefing, you will enter the forest and can take anything from 30 minutes to three-quarters of the day, depending on where the mountain gorillas could be spending their day.

The steeply forested landscapes of Bwindi are incredibly dense but very adventurous, and at times crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, makiit evenven madventurousouss. After an Encounter with the Mountain Gorillas, you will be allowed to spend a full hour with them, taking pictures and videos, with a certificate of participation as they thank you for your contribution to the conservation of mountain gorillas.

You will have lunch and after transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, the home of Golden Monkeys and mountain gorillas.

Day Five: Golden monkey trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

In the morning, after breakfast, transfer to the headquarters for a briefing about Golden Monkey tracking. The trek takes about 3 hours, during which you will be able to encounter various other monkey species. After golden monkey tracking. You will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi   and have an evening of relaxation at Uganda`s deepest and, preferably, Africa’s most scenic lake

Day six: Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi back to Kampala for departure

You will wake up in the morning for breakfast, meet your guide with packed bags, and embark on a journey back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the equator for lunch, and after that, continue with the journey to either Kampala or Entebbe.

You will be dropped at your hotel in either Kampala or Entebbe or at the airport in Entebbe for your International flight back home.
