This 10-day Uganda Rwanda Safari takes you to Zziwa rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking, to the magnificent Murchison Falls for a spectacular scenic view, to Kalinzu Forest to see Chimpanzees and various species of monkeys, and to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kazinga Channel, renowned for their diversity of wildlife, birdlife, and picturesque geographical features.
The Safari offers you an opportunity to encounter the Gorillas in Bwindi’s impenetrable forest. You will cross to Rwanda for the tour of the Diane Fossy Site, and a cultural tour of the Ibiwachu Cultural Village. You will also do Golden Monkey tracking in Kinigi and after transfer to Kigali for the Kigali City tour before you embark on the journey back to Kampala with a stop over in Mbarara town for Lunch and at the Uganda equator for memorable pictures
Day By Day | 10 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari
Day 1: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park.
Very early in the morning after breakfast, our driver will pick you up from your hotel. You will have a very small briefing about the safaris and get set to travel to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey will be quite long but you will be free to stop the driver at any point of your choice for snapshots and clear nature views.
You will have a stopover to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary at Nakasongola district for roughly 2hrs. There after you have enjoyed the rhinos you will have your lunch at Kabalega Dinners and later proceed to Murchison Falls National Game Park. You will then proceed to the top of the falls for the scenic view of these magnificent creations.
You will transfer to the Lodge, for relaxation, Dinner, and overnight stay

Day 2: Morning game drive, Nile launch cruise
You will have your breakfast and then leave for a morning game drive. You will travel with a ranger guide who will give more interpretations of wildlife scenarios, and help in tracking wildlife based on previous sightings and their possible food hunt places. This is one of the most exciting and rewarding activities on an African wildlife viewing safari; many visitors can never have enough of it. The driver will take you back to your hotel for lunch, relax a little bit, and get ready for an afternoon launch trip downstream to the Nile Lake Albert Delta which offers the classic view of an equatorial sunset reflected on the river. Check-in your hotel for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning after breakfast, Depart Murchison Falls National Park and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Stop for lunch en route in Hoima or Fort Portal, and enjoy the scenic drive through rural Uganda. Continue with the journey to Queen elizabeth and check into the Lodge for Relaxation, Dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Wake up early for breakfast and then go for an early morning game drive to encounter different mammals like herds of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, leopards, hyenas, etc. Sight different species of birds. Over 500 species have been identified here making it a paradise for bird–watchers some of these birds include Blackbee eater, 11 different species of Kingfisher, several falcons, eagles, and raptors. Get back to your hotel for lunch and relax as you wait for the afternoon activity.
In the afternoon you will have a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel where you will see a variety of bank residents. This waterway joins Lake Edward and Lake George and encounters a school of hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, waterbucks, and a variety of water birds. Catch a glimpse of water birds diving for fish, the Marabou stork, bee-eater, and cheeky bronze-tailed starling not to forget the majestic crowned crane. Check in to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Day Five of a 10 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari
Chimpanzee Tracking and transfer to Bwindi
You will wake very early in the morning for a cup of tea and transfer to Kalinzu Forest for a chimpanzee trekking adventure. After encountering the Chimps, you will then embark on the journey to Bwindi’s impenetrable national game park.

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking and Evening Community Walk
Wake up early have your breakfast and the driver will pick you up for a thrilling experience of gorilla tracking and trekking in Bwindi’s impenetrable forest. You will be taken to the headquarters where will you be briefed and given instructions on how it’s done. The time taken to track the mountain gorilla is a minimum of 2 hrs. and a maximum of 7 hrs. On finding them, you will be given the most exciting and emotional moment with them. For conservation purposes in most cases, you will be given 1 hr. to enjoy them. You will then go back for your lunch and after go for village walks along the ridge top roads which provide a fantastic view north and Virunga volcanoes in the south. You will also be exploring the culture and lifestyle of the local Bakiga and Batwa tribes.
Day 7: Transfer from Bwindi Forest National Park to Rwanda in king Dian Fossy museum tour and Ibiwachu cultural encounter
Visit the famous American Primatologist Dian Fossey’s graveyard who dedicated almost 20 years of her life to studying and protecting mountain gorillas. See where she was murdered at Karisoke. And also tour the museum named after her.
After vist Ibiwachu cultural. The cultural village gives you a chance to meet local people, in their environment, learning and experiencing their culture, traditions, and day-to-day lives. You have opportunities to be at the cultural village and or visit their homes and experience life in a Rwandan home. There is no better way to understand and learn about a country than by interacting with its people.
Some of the activities offered by the cultural village include; community walks, traditional dances and music, visiting a traditional healer, a local banana brewing process, hunting /techniques, artisans and craft making by women, men and children, etc.
Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 8: Golden Monkeys and transfer Kigali
Wake up for breakfast, pack your bags, load them in the car, and head out for the Golden Monkey Tracking experience. The experience takes about 1 to2 hours. After, you will transfer to Kigali reaching in time early enough for lunch, evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 9: Kigali City Tour
Discover Rwanda’s capital city, Kigali with a half-day Kigali City Tour. Stops include the Kigali Genocide Memorial, an artisan center for shopping, an art gallery, and a drive-by of city highlights such as the Parliament Building and Kigali Convention Center. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
Return to the hotel for relaxation, Lunch, Dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 10: Journey to Kampala
Leave for Kampala after your early morning breakfast, have a stopover in Mbarara for Lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre and then proceed with the journey back to Kampala with a stop over at the equator.
You will be dropped at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay or at the airport for your air flight back home.
