Day 1: <strong>Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park</strong><strong>.</strong>
On arrival at the Kigali Airport, you will be met by our safari guide who will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. The journey to the North goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that display Rwanda’s landscape and the beautiful breathtaking land of over 1000 hills.

Day 2:<strong>Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park</strong><strong>.</strong>
After breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters of Parc National des Volcans. There you will be briefed by the ranger guides; with packed lunch you will then start the gorilla trekking through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga. You may have an optional of visiting ibyiwacu ex pocher,s village for cultural performance after tracking.

Day 3: <strong>Golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes National Park and Visit the Diana Fossey Tomb</strong><strong>.</strong>
After breakfast, you will have a golden monkey track. These golden monkeys are the most endangered primates in the Volcanoes. After lunch you will transfer to Karisoke where Dian Fossey, a woman who carried out Comprehensive research about Mountain Gorillas in Africa was buried. At the spot where she was buried, it’s also the same spot where she burried her friendly Gorilla which was called Digit. After the visit you will transfer back to your hotel.

Day 4: <strong>Drive to Akagera National Park for an evening game drive and overnight</strong><strong>.</strong>
After breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to the East of Rwanda to Akagera National Park bordering Tanzania, which has beautiful undulating plains with dense, broad-leafed woodland, lighter acacia woodland and rolling grassland with an extensive series of lakes linked by papyrus swamps forming a sprawling wetland.
Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge
Day 5: <strong>Game drives and boat trip on Lake Ihema</strong><strong>.</strong>
Have an early morning game drive in the park. The game drives will involve seeing hippos, elephants, buffalos, giraffe, hyenas, crocodiles and many other animals plus bird life. After a late breakfast, you may decide to go for nature or have a relaxed moment at the lodge while preparing for the canoe ride on Lake Ihema in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge
Day 6: <strong>Drive to Kigali for a city tour and Transfer to the Airport for your departure flight out</strong><strong>.</strong>
After breakfast you will drive back to Kigali for drop off at the Airport, depending on your departure flight time you will have a local lunch then proceed to the airport for your flight out to end the 6 Days Gorillas and Game Safari in Rwanda.
