Our driver will pick you up from the hotel or Entebbe International Airport, he will brief you, and then proceed with the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have lunch from Masindi town at Masindi hotel, one of the historical hotels in Masindi district. You will reach Murchison Falls, and the driver will take you on a game drive where you will view a variety of wildlife that includes impala, elephants, lions, leopards, and bee-eaters, to mention a few. You will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Have breakfast and head for a game drive where you view different wildlife like herds of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and andbee-eatersrnamelist a few. Have lunch and return for the afternoon activity on the Nile River. You will go with the boat to the bottom of the falls, where the water forces itself out of the narrow rocks. You will spot crocodiles, hippos, elephants, and other animals when at the riverbank drinking water. You will then go back to the lodge for an overnight stay and dinner at the same lodge.

Morning breakfast, the driver will then transfer you to Kibale National Park. Kibale National Park has an evergreen forest that contains a diverse array of landscapes, a variety of mammals, and bird species. Kibale National Park is home to many chimpanzees and has a rehabilitation centre for chimpanzees. You will pass Lake Albert, where you will see a beautiful view of Lake Albe, rt, and then proceed to Hoima for lunch. Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking

You will have a morning breakfast very early in the morning, and then proceed to the park’s headquarters for a briefing on the rules and guidelines of conducting chimpanzee tracking. You will start the search in the jungle, apart from chimpanzees, you will view other wildlife like bush pig, elephants, blue monkeys, to name a few. Bird species will also be viewed during the tracking process, and ever evergreen savannah vegetation of Kibale National Park. Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or from Entebbe international airport on arrival for your 6 Day Uganda Primates Trekking safari. Transfer to Kibale forest heading west past Mubende and continue to Fort Portal, where you will stop for lunch. Proceed to Kibale Forests, arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your preferred lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest

After morning breakfast, wake up early to track chimps near Kanyanchu. This can take you half a day. 13 other primate species live in Kibale forests, and you will therefore encounter some of them during your chimp trek. These include the golden monkey, L’Hoest monkey, baboons, white and black colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, red colobus, blue monkeys, and pottos. Other animals include the forest elephant,s unique species from the common type, the giant forest hog, and a striking tree species.

Enjoy Lunch and later take a guided nature walk to Bigodi swamp sanctuary, a good site for birders. The Great Blue Turaco and Papyrus Gonolek can easily be marked among the other 137 bird species. There is also an array of butterfly species. Later return for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will enjoy a morning breakfast and set off for Bwindi forest, the home of half of the remaining mountain gorilla population in the world, driving through Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi with lunch en route, arriving in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your preferred lodge.

Day 4: Mountain gorilla tracking in Bwindi and transfer to Mgahinga

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters for registration and join others for a gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and don’ts during your Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour. Once this is done, you will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you from half an hour to three-quarters of the day.

The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access to tourists. On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds, and rare tree species. After finding the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them before trekking back to the Park headquarters.

This is indeed an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures. You will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas.

Later in the afternoon, you will transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, home of Gorillas and Golden Monkeys.

After an early morning breakfast, you will head out for the Golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Later in the afternoon, transfer from Mgahinga gorilla national park to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s deepest and most beautiful lake, dotted with several islands.

5-day Safari to Sipi falls and to Murchison falls national game park.

Safari to Sipi Falls and to Murchison. This 5-day safari takes you to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest park in Uganda, situated in northwestern Uganda covering an area of about 3,840sq Km. The park is classified as a savannah grassland, and the Victoria Nile separates the park into two banks: the northern and southern banks. The park has an array of birds and animals, inclusive of the big five, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, and so many others. You will have a chance to enjoy game drives, a boat cruise, and a visit to the top of the falls.

SIPI FALLS

Sipi Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in eastern Uganda, near the border with Kenya. The falls are situated in the foothills of Mount Elgon, the fourth-highest mountain in East Africa. Sipi Falls is a series of three waterfalls, with the main falls dropping approximately 100 meters. The area around Sipi Falls is known for its scenic beauty and is a popular destination for hiking, trekking, and outdoor activities. Visitors can take guided tours to explore the waterfalls with our local community guide and the surrounding countryside, dotted with small farms and traditional villages.

Day one: Transfer to Sipi Falls, Coffee, Experience, and Sunset

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will depart Kampala and drive towards Sipi Falls, located in the eastern region of Uganda. The journey takes about 6 hours, passing through scenic landscapes of the Mount Elgon ranges, small towns, and villages. Arrive at your lodge in Sipi Falls, check in.

In the evening, we will go out for a community walk to experience first-hand the local way of processing coffee from the garden to the cup. We will end the day with a sunset, and we will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day Two: Sipi Falls Hike, and transfer back to Kampala

After an early morning cup of coffee, we will head out for a Sipi Falls Hiking adventure. We will embark on a guided hike to explore the stunning Sipi Falls. Sipi Falls is a series of three waterfalls nestled amidst beautiful landscapes, offering breathtaking views. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural pools and marvel at the picturesque scenery.

We will then embark on a journey back to Kampala, arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay and your hotel.

Early morning after breakfast, you will be picked up at your residence by a guide from Katland Safaris. After a short briefing, you will then embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stopover at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the Rhino Tracking adventure.

We will proceed and have and have another stop en route in Masindi town for Lunch. After lunch, you will then connect to Murchison Falls National Park. You will visit the top of the falls to marvel at how the entire Nile tries to squeeze itself in a narrow gorge, and you will then proceed to the lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day Four:  Early morning game drives, Bush Breakfast, afternoon boat cruise, and Evening Game drive.

Early in the morning After breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you so you can start your morning game drive to look for the early grazers, you may have the opportunity to see many animals such as buffaloes, Giraffes, antelopes Elephants, warthogs, and many more, depending on the nature of the day, you may be chanced to spot some of the big cuts like lions and leopards.

We will end the game drive with h bush Breakfast and then proceed to the afternoon boat cruise.

After that thrilling game drive, you will take a short rest at the lodge as you prepare for the late afternoon boat ride/cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls. While on the boat cruise, you will encounter several birds, elephants, hippos, and crocodiles on their island, and so much more on the banks of the River Nile. Return to the lodge later in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day Five. Transfer back to Kampala, visit the Kasubi Royal Tombs and the Gaddafi Mosque.

Wake up very early in the morning for breakfast, check out of the lodge, and embark on a journey back to Kampala. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will visit the Kasubi Tombs and also visit the Gaddafi Mosque in Old Kampala. You will then transfer to your Hotel, marking the end of your Safari.

Day 04: Early morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise, and evening Game Drive in Murchison Falls.

Meet and greet with our company representative who will pick you up from your hotel early enough so as to manage time since it’s a long way to your destination. Leave Kampala for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We can then have a stop at the Equator for stretch refreshments, and then you can have a look at the traditional drums and crafts being made at this place. Jump into the car and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, famously known for the rare Mountain Gorilla, and the primate life in this forest is quite fantastic, and there is an incredible variety of flora and fauna too. This forest also holds 348 bird species, thus known for being a bird watcher’s haven. You will have a lunch stop and then head straight to the destination, dinner.

After the briefing, the rangers will then lead you into the forest to track these gentle giants, the Mountain gorillas. Experience the thrill of spending time observing the gorillas as they interact with each other. You are allowed an hour to witness the interaction of these close relatives to humans; thereafter, you can engage in a community walk if time permits, too explore culture, in case time is on your side. Grab a cup of coffee as you warm up to explore more of Queen Elizabeth NationalParkk.k We will head for a game drive along Kasenyi tracks in search of animals like Lions, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Spotted hyenas, Mmangos kobs, and, if you are lucky, the leopard is also often spotted. Over 606 bird species have been recorded in this park, and most notably along the Kazinga channel. Return for a lunch meal, relax, and prepare for yet another exciting activity in the afternoon. After lunch, you will enjoy a unique two-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This launch cruise gives you an amazing opportunity to watch the animals and birds at a much closer distance. Day THREE:  Early Morning game drive, an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, and an evening game drive.

After a fruitful morning cup of coffee, you will start your drive to Kasenyi Plains to look for the game. The reason why you do game drives in the Kasenyi plains is that it is the leading breeding area of the Uganda kobs, and this means big carnivals come around to feed on them. As you do the drive, you may come across different animals like buffalo, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, and many more.

Return to the lodge for lunch and a short nap.

Meet your guide again, transfer to the pier for a briefing, and start your boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. The channel has various mammals as they float on the banks to take water, and this is the highlight of all activities done in the park. Day four: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kalinzu Forest and Evening Community Experience.

Today starts with an early morning breakfast, then transfer to Kalinzu forest for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking guidelines and a forest walk search for the chimpanzees. Once you find the chimpanzees, you will be allowed a full hour in the company of the Chimpanzees. There are other primates along the trails to be seen, like the baboons, colobus monkeys, forest hogs, beautiful birds, and butterflies of Uganda. They return to the lodge for lunch.

After Lunch, you will go for an evening walk through the rural community, visit a local brewery, and end the day with a local coffee experience. Return to the Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer back to Entebbe/Kampala.

Today, after breakfast, you bid farewell to the lodge and start your drive back to Entebbe for your international flight out or drop off at the hotel or residence.

Day 1: Depart Kampala for Murchison Falls National Park

Having had breakfast, start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park via Bombo road that which should take you about five hours to get there. When you reach the park, drive directly to the Top of the falls, such a pretty site for appreciating the mighty River Nile and the most powerful gush of water through a narrow drop. Head straight to your night’s accommodation.

Day 2: Game Drive at Murchison Falls National Park

Set off for an early game drive on the Northern Delta Nile. Lions, buffaloes, waterbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, oribi, and baboons are some of the animals you will be able to spot. Head back for breakfast, and then after you can go aboard a boat to take on a launch cruise on the Murchison Falls in about two hours. You will view schools of hippos and crocodiles, and small herds of Buffalo. There is great birdlife on the papyrus banks; watch out for the shoebill stork, plus various other birds. While at the bottom of the fall, you will see how it magnificently powers down as you take pictures of the unforgettable, magical views. Then back to the hotel for latelunchh relaxation as you interact, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4: Mountain Gorilla Tracking

Rise as early as possible to grab your trekking gears and breakfast not forgetting your packed lunch plus drinking water, head on for briefing that takes place at 8:00 am, ready to trek the gorillas in the thick impenetrable forest of Bwindi you will be allocated a family to track, and on finding them during the search, you get to spend an hour with the gorillas. Depending on how you feel after the trek and how much time is left, you could engage in another activity, it could be a nature walk to the Batwa community, ty thereafter head back to the lodging to freshen u, dine, and then a night’s rest.

Bwindi forest covers an area of 124 square miles of lowland and montane forest. These vast forests are home to 163 tree species, 348 species of birds, and 120 species of mammals. Among the mammals in the park are chimpanzees, civets, elephants, giant forest hogs, golden cats, Colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, stripped jackals, and mountain gorillas. The key bird species are the cream-banded swallowtail and African green broadbill. Half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas is found in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga National Park in Uganda.

There are currently 15 habituated gorilla groups open to gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Bwindi is special among all the other mountain gorilla parks for its high concentration of these gentle giants. This experience gives visitors more time with the primates and in the company of very knowledgeable international researchers.

The Batwa pygmies were the original inhabitants of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park before they were relocated outside the park to pave the way for mountain gorilla conservation.

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi National Park | Uganda Gorilla trip with Jinja

Pickup will be from your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala, Uganda; the journey will take 8 to 9 hours, depending on the sector you will the tracking. The driver will ensure that you stop at the equator crossing and then at Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara for Lunch. Once you get to Bwindi, refresh, shower, and enjoy the evening with friends around the hotel.

Day 2: Trekking with Uganda Gorillas – Batwa Pygmies Tour and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Briefing for gorilla trekking takes place at 7:30 am and is conducted by the Warden and his team of Rangers at the park offices. All gorilla trackers must be at the park by this time and attend the briefing, which is an overview of what to expect during the gorilla trekking. A gorilla safari in Bwindi Forest offers you several gorilla groups to choose from. The Rangers will take into consideration your overall fitness. Gorilla tracking is challenging, but you will find the experience awesome once you see the primates. It is always amazing to watch a family of mountain gorillas. You could spend hours just watching the little ones roll around and play. Mountain Gorillas are very playful and curious – don’t be surprised if they come too close to you. While with the gorillas, it’s important to listen to instructions from your guide.

Batwa Cultural Experience

After spending one hour with the gorilla family, you will be led back to the starting point, where our Guide/Driver will be waiting to take you back for lunch at your hotel. You will head out to visit the Batwa Pygmy cultural community in the afternoon. As noted earlier, the Batwa originally lived in the forest but often had conflicts with the gorillas. The government decided to relocate them elsewhere to allow for smoother gorilla conservation activities.

After the Batwa Community tour, we will transfer and spend a night oLakeke Bunyonyi. This will help us cut the driving distance the following day by 3 hours to Jinja. Upon reaching Bunyonyi, we will check into the lodge for evening relaxation as we admire the views of Lake Bunyonyi over a sundowner.

Day 4: Transfer from Kabale to Jinja with a stopover at the Equator.
